A few things I’ve been liking, that happen to be pink.
Consider this as a sort of ‘favourites’ post, but my picks – instead of being related by the month – are connected by their colour.
When we moved back into the ‘old flat’ I had little time to pack everything away and select a few things to bring with me. I completely forgot about perfumes.
I needed a fragrance, so I went online and selected one that looked pretty: I had no idea how it was going to smell, but the packaging did the trick for me.
I remember once I was at the airport, waiting by the shops for the gate to be announced, and I was testing different perfumes: none of the Gucci one smelled that nice, so when I ordered this one I was truly hoping for the best.
Luckily, I really like it! It not only looks pretty, but has a lovely scent too (which is clearly the most important factor).
I’m glad I gave it a go. And I’m happy it worked out. It may be more of a summer scent, but it’s really nice.
This moisturiser by Origins is my new go-to in the morning. When I read ‘matte’ I wasn’t sure it was actually going to work, as I do have oily skin (as you all know), but after just a few minutes of applying this, I can tell my skin does look matte, and I find myself blotting maybe just once a day, instead of doing it numerous times.
I also like the consistency, which is almost jelly-like; the scent is very particular, and has been driving me insane to be honest: I like it a lot, and it reminds of something, but I cannot figure out what. The closest thing I would say is a cola popsicle, but I’m not sure that’s it! If you have this moisturiser, please let me know what you thing the scent is.
Probably my most used products as of lately is this lip balm by Glossier. I have mentioned it in another blog post as soon as I got it, but since then, my love for it has grown even more.
It’s an amazing lip balm: it smells incredible, it makes your lips super soft and pouty, it’s quite thick but melts as you apply… ah. I wanna apply some more just by writing this.
So here comes my everyday lipstick, by Tarte. This guy is my second tube, and it’s the shade ‘exposed’. I was about to run out of my first one right when they gifted me this one. That was a happy day.
I find that it makes my lips look fuller, the shade is the perfect nude for me, and it fades beautifully and naturally throughout the day.
The final thing I wanted to show is this manga, which I picked up the other day as the title was so strange.
Once I got home, I wrote my friend Daizo, showing her what I bought, and she told me she has read this already and enjoyed it, so even tho I have not had the chance to read it myself yet, I figured I would include it. I’m very much looking forward to read it tomorrow.
In fact, tomorrow I’m going to be on a plane again! This post is completely rushed out, I simply didn’t wanna leave without writing something on my blog, but it’s very exciting as when I get back, I will have the new line I’m releasing. Early next week I will be able to show it to you! (not the clothing one just yet).
Do you have any fun plans for this weekend?
