…Try, listen to, watch and play.

Here are some product recommendations, music and more. If you are looking for good new stuff, keep reading!Β

Check this out!

Amazing way to display these new Tarte lipsticks, I immediately felt excited to open them up. Gorgeous packaging, and lots of amazing shades I would for sure wear. Many nudes and browns, but also some brighter options.

I love them cause they are extremely pigmented and stay on so well. Really high-quality; instant love. If you can grab one, do it!

Next is this adorable compact foundation by Dear, Klairs, called Mochi BB cushion.

I’ve known the owner of the website for a few years, so any time something new comes up that she think I may like, she sends it to me.

This shade matched my skin tone perfectly, to the point that I felt it was blending even too well into my skin. It feels very light, great for a natural look, it evens out redness and discolouration.

If you are looking for a good ‘on the go’ foundation, this is a nice little product. Also vegan and cruelty free.

Now, it may seem a bit overkill, but I have two cleanser to share with you – each has a different purpose, so it will make sense!

The first one is by Neogen, a Korean brand, and has real crushed green tea leaves.Β I love the fact that it is on a stick, and it is aimed to people with sensitive skin.

I use this either in the morning (if my skin is feeling a bit too oily) or after removing my makeup – note that I do not use this to actually remove the makeup.

I keep this as a ‘luxurious step’ because, thanks to the fact that it is solid, I use it to give myself a little face massage. As you rub it in it feels like you don’t have much on your skin, but the moment you add water, it all bubbles up and by the time you wash it off, the skin feels extra clean and tighter. I really enjoy it!

The second cleanser is by Honest Beauty, and this is just genius: it comes in powder form.

I got this gifted around Christmas by the brand, and at the time I was travelling a bit. Instead of worrying about liquids, I just grabbed a few of these pouches each time I was going away, and they did an amazing job at removing my makeup. One pouch would take everything off!

If you don’t have a use for this then it may not be worth it, but if you travel often, this is a life saver.

If you have Netflix, please give a go to the ‘Love’ series. The way I describe this show to people is “it’s so LA”. In a good way.

Recently the second season came out – which I finished last night – and so I had to share my love for this show once again. It’s just really good!

It’s about a rebel girl and a nerdy guy. I will leave it at that.

I realise most people are either playing or talking about this game already, but I had to include ‘Zelda Breath of the Wild’ in this post. It’s a great game, it really is. I love the fact that you can just pretty much do anything you wish to do, you have this whole beautiful world and it does feel like an adventure.

Since it came out, Felix and I have been playing it every evening.

Alright, I’m finally getting around to give some more music suggestions. I get asked a lot to share new songs I have been liking, so here we go!

  1. The ‘Late Bloomer’ EP by Haley Blais. I found her on YT, she is hilarious, and her music is awesome. Her video for the song ‘Mine’ is amazing.
  2. The ‘I See You’ album by The XX. Particularly the song ‘Say Something Loving’ and its music video.
  3. Jamie xx – Gosh. This is a gem I found after re-watching the first episode of the ‘Love’ show I’ve just mentioned. It’s a strange song, but listen to it as it gets incredible in the second half!

That’s all for today, I really hope you found something new to like! πŸ˜‰

Anything you would like to share? By the way, I just want to state that none of these things paid me to be included. Clearly I get sent lots of free stuff, but none asked for a mention or anything like that. If I’m ever paid to write or talk about something, you will always know it.

Hi Marzia, I want to know how do you handle having interest in so many things at the same time? I love learn about everything too but I have trouble focusing on one thing for too long so I don’t finish it. Do you feel the same?

I would recommend you listen to Mitski, an amazing female artist i just found on YT her song "Happy" and the video is just a perfect throwback to suspense and horror romantic films of the 50's like Hitchcock's but also to Wong Kar-Wai.

that cleansing stick seems to be genius! πŸ™‚ I’ve recently binge-watched “Lovesick” on Netflix, I totally recommend it, storyline is funny and there’s great music, sometimes I felt as if there was one of my playlists as a background music, it was even starting to be a bit weird πŸ˜€

Hi, Marzia, thank you for sharing your favorites with us, I ended up loving them as well! Just a pretty random question, have you ever think about doing a video/blog about how to style the house? I really really like the decoration and organization in your house, and I really want to know if you have any tips and tricks on how to make our home look better. Not sure if you can see this comment, but this is what I’m curious so far! haha, :p Anyway, I love your work, you are an amazing person. Have a nice day! πŸ˜€

Just stopping by to let you know I love your videos and blog posts ! It’s very inspiring that you’re doing all these different stuff that you like, in your own way. I always feel like there’s so many things I want to do that I kind of get stuck not being able to choose, and I often end up doing none of them. But lately, watching you has been pushing me to start doing some, bit by bit, so thank you ! πŸ™‚

PS : Also, I went to the Lazy Oaf website after you talked about it, and I wondered if Felix already owns this hoodie or not ? :p

Hey Marzia! I wanted to quickly say I love how cozy this post is! Also, I wanted to share with you something I found really cool and I think you will too.

Today, in my Environmental Science class, we had an assignment on water diversions of lakes, and this one lake in particular caught my attention: the Salton Sea (it’s actually a lake despite the name haha). If I tell you the entire story behind what happened there, this comment would be too lengthy, so you can read it here:

Anyways, the place used to be a tourist attraction, but due to what happened, all of the hotels, resorts, houses, etc. were simply abandoned. It not really explained in the webpage, but maybe you could infer it. After I looked at those pictures, which I thought were so cool, they reminded me of you because I know you enjoy looking at such places. Maybe the next time you go to LA or California, you could check it out! I think you would like it πŸ™‚

Also, will you be posting a video about hairstyles, because I also recently got a haircut and I have no clue how to style it besides leaving it open haha.

    Bye πŸ™‚

    Hi Marzia!
Let me start just by saying that I love watching Maya and Edgar, and seeing how much love you and Felix have for them. I’ve been watching your channels and reading your blog for quite some time, and I know how much you love animals. I was just wondering, would you consider using your channel’s popularity to educate people about serious issues of dog’s selective breeding? I’m just worried that many people see how cute and amazing your pugs are and don’t stop to wonder about some important issues of this breed, and would rather buy a pug and not adopt. There’s an amazing documentary that shows how awful selective breeding is, and it’s called “Pedigree Dogs Exposed: Three Years On” (it’s here, if you’ll be interested – it extensively covers some problems that pugs unfortunately have to deal with :C ). Please don’t take this comment the wrong way, I’m just frustrated how many people are completely ignorant in this topic and I thought that you’ll be able to educate some of them. I think Edgar and Maya would be amazing advocates for this sad cause 😦
Anyway, I love your work, your vlogs and tutorials make my day when you post them.
Sending my love to you and your doggies! πŸ˜€

Hi Marzia, as soon as I read this article, I started watching the show Love. By far, I’ve finished episode 7 and I love it. It’s just so funny and awkward in a cute way πŸ˜€ But I wanted to recommend something to you too. I don’t know if it’s your style or not, but I recently came across this artist on Etsy, he’s called Omar Rayyan. He’s a painter and it’s hard to describe his style, but if you want, check him

Hey Marzia! I was wondering if you would gimme some advice on blog writing. I wanna start my own blog, but my big fear is that people think that im too egocentric and that nobody will read it. How can i get through with this? Please help, i love you marzia keep being you! Love xxx allie

    Hi Marzia!

Your blog is such a happy place, and Iove reading all of the posts as haven’t been here for a while πŸ™‚ The green tea cleanser looks amazing, and I will have to track it down. I will also have to check out ‘Love’ on Netflix – it sounds fun! I have been watching loads of shows lately – Bates Motel and also Hotel Beau Sejour which is amazing!

I’m really into acai berry bowls here at the moment – we have this little vegan cafe in the city called little bird that makes the most amazing breakfast and brunch foods in auckland. They have this passionfruit cheesecake that is totally vegan and I love it to bits.

A new musician I have been really into is Nicole Dollanganger, who I discovered when watching the Walking Dead, her music is a bit old worldly but really cool.

I’ve been playing the last guardian and it is such a beautiful game, ah I think you would like this one too!

    Have an amazing day! πŸ™‚

    Hey Marzia!
I really like the last song you recommended. I suggest you listen to the album “viva la vida” by Coldplay, IΒ΄m literally listening to it non-stop at the moment πŸ™‚ Guess you might like it.
Have an amazing day, Love you ❀

    Hi Marzia!

Since I know you are quite knowledgeable about the Klairs products (I actually followed your recommendation of trying out their Sheet Masks and I loved it!) have you ever tried their Vitamin C serum? Did it work well for you? πŸ™‚
