In Sweden, and England.

Felix and I managed to spend Christmas in two places. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it!

On the 22nd, in the evening, we flew to Stockholm.

The flight was a bit delayed, and by the time we arrived there it was passed midnight.

There was the last train going to Stockholm, and so we rushed… we made it, the only problem: we forgot the luggage.

We went back, to find out that everything was closed. There was no way for us to get our stuff, so we left, grabbed a taxi, and spent the night without a pyjama or freshly washed teeth.

The morning after Felix went back again, collected our suitcase and then we went out in town as he had an appointment with a tattoo artist.

We spent the rest of the day/evening with Felix’s family, exchanging gifts and eating good food.

The 24th we headed over his sister’s house, where we met with her husband’s family as well and celebrated their Christmas all together. It was really nice! I love that they have so much tradition when it comes to this holiday.

Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos, cause Felix asked if he could borrow my camera to vlog during the trip (that’s why I didn’t snap as many as I usually would) – but that means that soon, you will be able to watch everything I’m writing about, on his channel… so it’s all good!

Felix’s parents gifted me a Vitra doll, I can’t believe it! I love them, and I didn’t have this one, so I was – and still am – so happy!

The morning after, reaaally early, we had to leave to get on not one, but two flights back to UK. It took us ages, but at 3pm we made it home, and started preparing to celebrate Christmas (once again)!

I was extremely sleepy, but it was such a fun way to spend the holidays – both with Felix’s family and our friends.

What did you do on Christmas? I hope you had a lovely, relaxing time.

I had the greatest Christmas in a long time πŸ™‚ I am currently recovering from depression and anxiety (more about that on my blog!), and I spent it with my family, boyfriend and his family too. I got all I wanted, particularly happiness and joy.

And looks like you did too! So glad ❀

I’m glad you had a wonderful Christmas even with all the traveling! On Christmas eve I went to my boyfriend’s grandpa’s house for dinner and then on Christmas I want to his uncle’s house for lunch. It was nice spending time with my boyfriend’s family and experiencing a Danish Christmas! πŸŽ„

Christmas for me and my boyfriend is a bit of a toss up as his parents are separated, so he has two families to spend Christmas with as well as my family. This year we spent Christmas Eve with my family, then Christmas day the morning was at my house, noon at his dad’s, afternoon at his mom’s and then evening at his mom’s boyfriend’s family dinner. By the end of the night I was so exhausted.
Wishing you and Felix a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ❀

That’s what christmas looked like for us exactly. Every year we ended up sick in bed. NOT OK! This year we anticipated the festivities with his two sets of parents into advent dinners, and had a friends based christmas with pizza delivery to avoid stress. On the 26 we hosted for my sisters and their families. Happy to report that noone got sick this year!! Plus out house was in full bling from 27.11, fantastic.

It sounds like a fun but exhausting Christmas, haha! I got to spend the weekend with each side of my family. Unfortunately all of my friends are from school and we’re all on break, so I didn’t get to see them, but I’m still enjoying my time at home πŸ™‚

Merry Christmas Marzia (Belated sure but doesn’t matter). Thank you for the post, it’s nice to hear from you even during the holidays.

My Christmas was spent with family but started with church at 9am. This whole period is usually a big (practically non stop) celebration since my Grandma’s birthday is Christmas Eve, then we have Christmas and then Boxing Day/Family day (26th) then New Years, then my dad’s birthday on the 4th Jan. So its a very busy family-filled time.

I’ve actually just gotten back home from visiting my Gran (10 hr drive) and am exhausted so it’s nice to unwind and read a blog post.

Best wishes to you and your loved ones for the New Year.

Awesome holiday! Glad you spend it the way you planned it. I’m looking forward to that vlog LOL

My family and I went to my sister’s husband’s family party too. We arrived too early but the food was delicious and that’s what I’m most interested about in reunions of this sort because…well…I love food but I don’t like hanging out with people…that much xD it was a little bit boring to be honest but they’re good people and to be fair, I am usually bored at family parties.

I would love to have friends like yours. Anyway…hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! πŸ˜€

Here in Mexico we break piΓ±atas and ask for shelter, religious tradition. We of course eat a lot and the gifts you get are usually sent from “Baby Jesus”. The time when you get a LOT of presents is January 5th, when the Three Wise Men visit Jesus and deliver gifts. For this date we also eat a bread called Rosca de Reyes where there are little babies hidden inside. If you get one on your piece you have to make tamales. It’s really fun!

I’m curious, does the doll have a certain meaning? It’s really cute!

The thing about the luggage happened to me at San Francisco. They gave us two different tracking numbers and they tracked the wrong one. We stayed our four days in the city whiteout any luggage.

About San Francisco, I want to thank you about the recommendations you gave me for the trip. I did a blog post about my trip. I really hope you can go back and stay a little longer. I really recommend the ghost hunting tour and the Japanese tea garden, as well as the Asian art and deYoung museum.

Now I’m just bumbling. What are your plans for New Years?

Have a very nice New Years Eve!
    Love, SaraπŸ’œ

    Hello beautiful Marzia β›„οΈπŸŒŸ
I discover your chain a few days ago & fell in love with your creations & shares ✨
I watched a few of your videos, going back in the past, and saw this one.
    I was wondering if :
1/ since you made those medicals tests, you get the results
2/ the doctors thought about the IBS ? It’s a not well known syndrome which could provoke the symptoms you’re experimenting (even if nausea might be rare in IBS, it’s possible).
I have IBS myself, and as a Naturopath / author, I am specialize about this health issue, and just wrote a book on it (it will be release in France on February).
    Have a beautiful day πŸ’–
Thanks for being who you are πŸ’œπŸŒΈ

Hi Marzia, happy new year! I was on a cruise with my biyfriend’s family, so missed a few of your posts. Sorry for my reply spams as I wanted to leave comment in each your post.

Since I have met my boyfriend, I have been celebrating Christmas in warm Florida with his fmaily for the third year already. It makes me happy as I feel that I am getting closer and cloasr to them every year. On the day we left Portland, Oregon to Florida, snow started falling down after we took off. It caused lots of traffic problems, but I still look forward to have a Christmas with snow.

My boyfriend and I are enjoying our last few days in Florida with his parents and friends. Outside is very sunny. After this long vacation, I will be fully charged for anything that is coming in 2017!

Hi Marzia! It makes me laugh because around the same time you and Felix had the tattoo appointment, so did my husband and I when I travelled to Cuba! As always, love your pictures and I am happy you had a fantastic holiday!
