December 27th, 2016
In Sweden, and England.
Felix and I managed to spend Christmas in two places. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it!
On the 22nd, in the evening, we flew to Stockholm.
The flight was a bit delayed, and by the time we arrived there it was passed midnight.
There was the last train going to Stockholm, and so we rushed… we made it, the only problem: we forgot the luggage.
We went back, to find out that everything was closed. There was no way for us to get our stuff, so we left, grabbed a taxi, and spent the night without a pyjama or freshly washed teeth.
The morning after Felix went back again, collected our suitcase and then we went out in town as he had an appointment with a tattoo artist.
We spent the rest of the day/evening with Felix’s family, exchanging gifts and eating good food.
The 24th we headed over his sister’s house, where we met with her husband’s family as well and celebrated their Christmas all together. It was really nice! I love that they have so much tradition when it comes to this holiday.
Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos, cause Felix asked if he could borrow my camera to vlog during the trip (that’s why I didn’t snap as many as I usually would) – but that means that soon, you will be able to watch everything I’m writing about, on his channel… so it’s all good!
Felix’s parents gifted me a Vitra doll, I can’t believe it! I love them, and I didn’t have this one, so I was – and still am – so happy!
The morning after, reaaally early, we had to leave to get on not one, but two flights back to UK. It took us ages, but at 3pm we made it home, and started preparing to celebrate Christmas (once again)!
I was extremely sleepy, but it was such a fun way to spend the holidays – both with Felix’s family and our friends.
What did you do on Christmas? I hope you had a lovely, relaxing time.
