Vivaaa, Las Vegas!
Yesterday I got back from a fun weekend away.
I’m here to share some photos with you!
Getting to Las Vegas from LA took us around 5 hours, but DJ Marzia took the chance to play some music on the way, and the scenery was absolutely stunning.
We arrived there at 5pm, and this was the view from our room. Pretty insane!
We stayed at Bellagio Hotel, cause when I was looking up different places on Booking, this one stood out for the strange yet very pretty decorations everywhere.
Soon after, I realised all of Las Vegas is exuberant, but still, our stay there was nice, and being so centrally located was great.
We only really do just one attraction, the High Roller, which we got the tickets for first, and then went to eat dinner all together.
We went to the Yard House, and there I honestly had the best fake grilled chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Aaaah, just thinking about it makes me so hungry – haha!
Here is a photo of me and Felix up high.
The wheel was a nice ride, 30 minutes to go around and very spacious, although you do have to share it with many other people, as it fits 25 in total.
Then we went to the Venetian, which brings me back home (in a way).
I originally wanted to get on a gondola, but the outdoor ones weren’t available, so instead we entered the mall, which mimics the city on a sunny day.
This was such a nice surprise, I didn’t know this area existed and I got way too excited!
Nearby there was an Oxygen bar, where basically they give you some tubes to stick up your nose and smell pure oxygen with a hint of scent. I didn’t try it out, nor did Felix, but Brad, Emma and Michael surely enjoyed it. 😉
The next morning we strolled around to get some lunch, and then decided to visit an exposition… of desiccated bodies.
Totally get it if this is not your thing, but we all found it pretty fascinating, although quite unusual.
There was this “Death Room”, which consisted on a long dark corridor and at the end there were bones and information to read.
Emma took the coolest photo of me in there!
But then it was time to leave. It took us a total of 7 hours to get back, and on the way to Los Angeles, we managed to spot the huge moon from last night. It looks very blurry, cause we were on a moving car, but somehow I find this picture stunning.
Anyway, video coming in just a few minutes. Be ready! 😉
