Oh, cosy rain.

An autumnal post, just to show some love to this season, filled with pictures.

Felix and I went for a walk with the pugs, yesterday.

The day was chilly, but sunny.

Right when we left the flat to go outside, it started pouring down.

Luckily, we had umbrellas with us, but wearing an all-white outfit was not a great idea.

Also the pugs didn’t have anything to cover themselves, and whilst Edgar is fine with the rain (although he won’t go near a puddle), little Maya doesn’t enjoy it too much, without a sweater.

We only went out for about 30 minutes, and snapped a few photos of what caught our attention.

Everything seems a bit more lonely, under the rain.

Look how pretty the colours of this plant are; so rich.

It was cold, and wet, and dark, but to me, it was like a little adventure.

It was fun to go out, seeing barely anybody on the streets.

Simply enjoying the rain.

When we got home, we turned on the fireplace, for the first time since winter, and order takeaway.

We spent the night playing video games and watching Freaks and Geeks (it’s on Netflix, and it’s really good).

Now, this was a really calm day, nothing planned, mainly because we were supposed to leave for Los Angeles. We got a message just a couple of days ago, being warned that the trip was moved for a little while, so it seems like we will stay home for just a bit longer.

That means the vlogs will be moved, but they will come for sure, so don’t worry! πŸ˜‰

How is your weekend going?

Wonderful post. I love rainy days, although it makes me feel bad for the stray dogs and cats out there. I can’t help it. I enjoy walking in the rain but I don’t fancy umbrellas…needless to say, if it REALLY pours down, I’m screwed LOL My weekend was fine, I worked on a school project and then I went to demi Lovato’s concert here in Mexico City. First time in 10 years that I go to one.

Thanks for the blog, Marzia. Greeting to Pewds and the pugs.<3

    Dear Marzia,

it’s great to see that you are enjoying your weekend after everything you’ve been through.
I really love seeing your pictures, it’s a big motivation for me to sometimes go outside and take some pictures myself even when the weather isn’t that great. I love photography but a lot of times I’m unsure of what to actually do with my camera, but everytime I look at your blog I’m so inspired and it’s really hard to force me inside my house again so that I stop taking pictures even though the weather is really bad, haha!
I also really love your outfit here. I already wanted to write a comment on your other blog post (Beyond Retro Lookbook) but I didn’t have much time so I’ll just do it here: Your fashion sense is just so great! I’m only 16 and I struggle a lot with finding out who I am and just being myself but since the day I subscribed to you I have a clearer image of myself since I can relate to a lot of things you talk about and it also has been easier for me to express myself through the clothes I wear. I used to wear clothes that are quite boring, like dark jeans and a simple shirt, almost every day since I couldn’t find anything I liked on my body. But because of your lookbooks I’m almost always broke lol since there are so many pretty things I just love to wear. Even though some of my classmates make fun of me once in a while because the style is “different” I really don’t care at all. I’m just so comfortable in my body and I like expressing who I am and what I like through clothes so I just ignore their comments.
Of course this doesn’t apply to clothes only, but this example just fits right now. So thank you so so much for being who you are and being such a huge inspiration for me! You really are my biggest idol, haha!
I hope you have a great week, Marzia. Please take care of yourself!

Lots and lots of love from Germany,

    Hi Marzia,
I’m new over here but I really enjoy reading your blog! The photos are amazing. I love the rain and these pictures are just beautiful. I’ve been suscribed to your YouTube channel since 2014 (now I’m 15) and I am really greatful because I found someone like me! You’re the one who inspires me. Your style is always lovely! I have to tell you that I have social anxety and I am too shy, so finding someone who can understand how I feel is really nice.
    Thanks for everything Marzia! β™‘β™‘β™‘
I feel better posting this comment.
    All my best wishes!

Marzia, lovely post. The pictures made me think about a couple books that i’m sure you will enjoy. Check them out because when i read them, i was like “this is something that Marzia would like” and i loved them! The author is Kate Morton, and the best ones are The Lake House, The Forgotten Garden and, The Distant Hours.

Maybe i’m a little late, but i hope you had an amazing birthday, you deserve it! Love you so so much Marzia! Have a great weekend!

    Love from Uruguay

Freaks and Geeks is so good! I watched it a few years ago and I go back to it from time to time πŸ™‚ It manages to be extremely funny and painful at the same time and it’s the only show about high school that I can actually relate to – having been an awkward teen myself. Glad you are enjoying it!

I feel like this post is the definition of cosy. I mean, I *am* reading under a blanket safe and warm while it’s somber outside, I love it.
The colours in your pictures warm my heart.
