PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE FUDGE.

Time to make another simple yet delicious dessert!

Today I realised I haven’t been posting sweet recipes in a little while, so I made sure to fix that. I wanted to come up with something all of you – or at least most, unless your are allergic to these ingredients – could make really quickly and be able eat.

I got inspired by this recipe, but as usual, I gave it twist. So here is how you make these tasty treats!

The best thing about this: you only need 5 ingredients. And no baking. It’s incredibly easy.

I used fruit syrup (but you could use agave or honey, if you wanted to), La Crema Vegetale by Valsoia (which is a vegan replacement for Nutella), smooth peanut butter, Lotus Biscoff – the crunchy kind – and vegetable butter (I use sunflower spread by “Pure”).

The first thing you want to do is to take some kind of “deep” tray and use Biscoff to create a crunchy layer at the bottom. This can be very thin.

Then go on and make a slightly thicker layer of chocolate on top.

Now, into a bowl, mix peanut butter and half the size of butter, together with your sweetening syrup. This will be the top layer, and the main paste for the treat, so feel free to prepare quite a bit as it needs to cover the whole tray and be thicker than the other two layers.

When you are done pouring it all, put it on the fridge until it hardens, or in the freezer, if like me, you can’t wait too long! I waited 1 hour and it was ready.

I cut it into squares and placed them on a dish. And voilร , the fudge is ready to be served.

This might not be the healthiest option out there, but it’s so easy and so delicious that if you want to prepare some when you have guests over, or if you are craving something deliciously sweet, you might want to give it a go.

I think these snacks are so so good, and when Felix got home today, he also had one and loved it – which says a lot, since he is not too much into desserts.

Anyway, hope you like the recipe!

Marzia.

    Ciaoooo,
ma solo a me sembra che tutti i prodotti uk siano esteticamente meno interessanti rispetto ai loro corrispondenti italiani?
Tutti quei tappi in plastica..
Ogni riferimento a nazioni, persone, animali, cose, oggetti รจ puramente casuale..
    Posso tentarvi: https://images.trvl-media.com/media/content/shared/images/travelguides/destination/6047147/Lake-Garda-Area-89970.jpg

I can’t while I’m living in Luxembourg, but when I go back to UK I’ll definitely try all these recipes. Maybe I can find a gluten-free Lotus Biscoff (which I had never heard of. I was so confused when I read it, but it seems interesting!). Thank you for posting them! Especially since they’re so quick and easy. If you didn’t I’d probably be too lazy to look anything up xD But you inspire me so sometime soon I might actually start experimenting with dessert recipes.
I love making desserts but I can’t bring myself to do them because I usually just go out and buy chocolates/biscuits from the shop or go to a restaurant. For me it’s way easier to experiment with the other main dishes, mainly because I buy random ingredients and at the end of the month I need to get creative in order to survive, lol.

    Have a nice day Marzia!

By the way Marzia, would you like subtitles in other languages for your videos?
I would gladly help translate some of them to portuguese. ๐Ÿ˜€ It would be so cool for your fans that have difficulty understanding english!

ps: and I want to share your videos with my grandmother that doesn't know a word of english, but knows how to navigate youtube! :O hehe

I love all of your vegetarian/vegan recipes Marzia ^_^ I’m currently in the process of transitioning to vegetarianism myself. I recently realised the effect that meat is having on the environment and it seriously put me off :O
(ps. It makes me really happy whenever I see you post on your blog and on youtube. Thank you for always being there) โค x

Hi Marzia. I saw a picture of your other flat’s tv/sitting room and noticed a really cool ambient light on a corner (behind the sofa, I think?) I have been looking for something similar to add to my house. By any chance do you remember the brand or type of light fixture?

PS. I like using crushed biscoff biscuits as the base for pies and cheesecakes.

Mmmm looks tantalizing!!! Glad to see you’re experimenting with vegan recipes too! Things like butter are so easily replaced by plant based products (and it’s healthier & tastes the same!) I wonder why we still use actual dairy. Hopefully that will change someday. ๐Ÿ™‚

Could you make a video, maybe with Felix, just about food? Your diet, favorite foods, least favorites, typical snacks, drinks etc.? Maybe something about your lifestyle and diet? As now you both seem to be more into sports also. It would be so interesting to see and hear about. Why you eat what you eat and do what you don’t. Where you indulge, what’s your weak spots, what foods you could not live without and how important eating/drinking healthy or not healthy actually is for you. What’s your favorite sweets and snacks and do you eat them often? Balance? Don’t mind so much at all and simply listen to your body? Super interesting topic. ๐Ÿ˜€
