Technically a double post today. WOHOO.

Felix and I decided to move our date from Saturday to Friday this week, because I’m going to be away for a few days. This also means I will not be able to post in here for a bit, unfortunately, but I won’t disappear completely, don’t worry!

Anyway, today I asked if we could go to a museum, and since we have been living in Brighton for a few years now and have never even been to the Brighton Museum, it was only logical to go there.

On the way, we stopped by Foodilic, a nice restaurant in the centre from where I always order the vegetarian moussaka – it’s seriously so good, and today was no exception.

It was a rainy day, which made it perfect for us to repair inside and take a look at some amazing art pieces, read about Brighton history and admire lots of different collections.

It’s not a very large museum, it has two floors but the price is reasonable: £5 a ticket. I found it very interesting because of my slight obsession with the past, especially when it comes to architecture. I always read about what used to be in a certain place, the history behind it, why it disappeared, what it was replaced by… and I was so happy to see how much information was available, and not only to read, but proper footage and model reproductions. I really enjoyed it.

I believe we spent quite a lot of time in there, then we ended up going to the cinema to watch Deadpool after eating pizza. It was the perfect day!

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

See you next week, Marzia.

Hi Marzia, thanks for sharing! I hope to get to Brighton someday. Here in Canada, my weekend plan consists of going to Jasper, Alberta- mountains, forests and wildlife. It’s one of my favorite places in the world. Since we live only 3 hours away, my boyfriend and I make it a point to get there at least once a month to explore and rejuvenate. If you’d like to see some pictures, I’ll be posting about it on my blog tomorrow 🙂 Again, thanks for sharing!

Marzia, your so beautiful and I admire you so much you have such unique and awesome style and your hair is so pretty and makeup always to nicely done! I hope that your few days away are fun! I’ve been reading your blogs since you started and I love it so much how you tell us about your day and get a little more personal! (: I love reading your blogs every few days so that I have lots of reading, it’s so fun! Also that museum looked so cool and vintage! When I read u were gonna stop writing for a few days due to the days away I felt a little bummed that I won’t be able to read these intresting posts! But I hope you have fun! Well now for the actual question, haha! I live in California and today is Saturday at 10:32 pm and today I woke up pretty late because I had stayed up so late the past week due to staying up late doing homework 😦 endless nights of horrid homework! Well, I woke up around 11 in the afternoon and then went on a four mile run! Then a four mile walk! It was by the beach and such a beautiful sight! Then when u got back I went downtown with my mom and we went to a few stores and I got to shirts that are really cool! Then I went to an awesome cafe called Verve, if you have one near Brighton then you should really go check it out! I got an Oreo donut! Some thing I had never tried before. It tasted very, very sweet. After I went home and my dad made dinner which was pasta! my favorite! After I had a full belly I went up stairs and snuggled into my pajamas. My pajamas are a onsie with a bunch of cat faces on it! If u don’t know what onsies are, your missing out :p! Then I watched some of your older videos because I had already watched all the new ones, haha! Then I went on Instagram and was a bit of stalking you… Shhhh. I’m @myonlysquid on Instagram. Haha werid name right! I DMed u a lot but sadly you never answer 😦 Now I’m listening to Angels by the xx! It’s a great song you should check it out! Well Marzia I better get to bed, goodnight!

Hey Marzia , really nice pictures, you seem to had a great time! I didn’t know that , except of my country, you can find moussaka somewhere else as well ( It’s one of my favourite foods!!!! ). This museum looks very interesting and I like its architecture/ style. These year there are many nice movies like deadpool, that I would like to watch ( the one I’d like most is “Alice through the looking glass”). Well, what about you? Anyway , have a great time Marzia and see you! >_<

I’m so glad you had such a lovely time/date. I love museums too. So much important stuff and facts. I don’t know if you read these messages but I was wondering I met Felix in New York on his book tour and I gave him I’m metal figurine that I made of St Basil’s Cathedral Church and I was wondering if we both liked it and if you were able to take it back home to Brighton. I made you that one because you guys like to see historical things when you travel so I figured that would be a nice one from Russia I really hope that you guys liked it I was super excited to be able to give it to you guys. Also one more thing I love reading your blogs they’re awesome and I love to learn new things about you

Wow, Brighton pictures are amazingly beautiful. I always thought that it actually was a small town, but looks like it isn’t. Your outfit, as always, perfect for the occasion. I really like the hat.
I hope you had a great weekend.
